God is the Creator of all things and He made the world perfect, creating each person in His image and calling us to live in relationship with Him, with one another, and with His creation. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and trustworthy Word, given to guide us in knowing God, understanding His story, and faithfully living it out. Though sin has fractured our relationship with God, with one another, and with creation, God has never abandoned what He made. From the beginning, He has been at work bringing restoration, redemption, and new life.
We believe this story finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, born of a virgin and without sin. He came announcing the arrival of God’s kingdom — a kingdom marked by grace, truth, justice, peace, and love. Through His life, death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus defeated sin and death and opened the way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God. We believe Jesus is our hope and that through Him, God is making all things new and inviting people from every nation into His family.
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active in the lives of believers and in the Church. The Spirit comforts, teaches, convicts, guides, and empowers us to live as followers of Jesus. We believe the Spirit gives gifts to His people and produces His character in us as we grow in faith. Because of this, following Jesus is not simply something we believe — it is a way of life. We are called to love God and love our neighbors, care for those who are hurting or overlooked, pursuing justice and reconciliation, and sharing the good news of Jesus through our words and our lives.
We believe the Church is a community of people who have been brought together through Jesus and sent into the world to embody His love. We gather to sing His praises, pray together, learn from Scripture, and encourage one another. We celebrate Baptism and Communion as expressions of our faith and our life together in Christ. We believe the Church is called to join God in His work of restoration wherever He has placed us.
We believe Jesus will return and that His Kingdom will ultimately be fully revealed. God will bring an end to sin, suffering, injustice, and death and will restore creation to its intended wholeness. We look forward to the day when God will dwell with His people and all things will be made new. Until that day, we choose to live as people of hope — following Jesus, loving others, serving our communities, caring for creation, and participating in the story God is still writing.
We believe God is inviting us to be part of His ongoing work of love, redemption, restoration, and new creation — and we want our lives and our church to reflect that story.
